Time and Family Function

How can insufficient time to address the responsibilities within the assigned function of the family  potentially impact  other family functions?

Time is a very crucial element in any family structure. If family members do not devote enough time towards carrying out the responsibilities that are associated with particular functions, it therefore means that other functions may be affected. For instance, if the parents fail to spend enough time to provide love and emotional support to the family it means that the children would not be properly socialized and may become antisocial as they grow up. What do you think?

      Definitely not. If family members' needs are not met then our world will be in a terrible state.

    By no means. It is even more important to invest in the family due to the limitation on time.

    I believe that once each member of the family knows his/her role or function, he/she should be devoted to executing that role in a manner and time that will benefit each person. If this is done, then not enough time should not be a factor in the equation.

    Spending quality time with members of the family does matter. Notice not time but quality time - positive meaningful interaction, take time to listen to each other. Time, QUALITY time matters.
